There is a hard copy of the Teacher’s Guide included with every monthly bundle, but you also can access the Teacher’s Guide online!

Choose the issue you are going to teach. Then click “Teacher’s Guide” from the list of Resources on the right side of the page. 

The Teacher’s Guide is like a user’s guide for the issue. Reading objectives, Next Generation Science Standards, and vocabulary from the issue are highlighted. The Teacher’s Guide also includes reading comprehension questions and a fun Hands-On STEM Activity.

The Teacher’s Guide also includes a sheet to record findings from the Hands-On STEM Activity.

It’s up to you! The Teacher’s Guide is flexible. Use all the activities, or pick and choose what elements to use based on what skills you want to teach. You can also use our ideas as a springboard to inspire your own! However you use it, the Teacher’s Guide helps to seamlessly integrate Science Spin 2 into your classroom and engage all learners.

Yes! When you’re on the issue page, click "STEM Activity" under Extend the Lesson in the middle of the page. You’ll find a print-friendly pdf with step-by-step instructions, plus the recording sheet. 

Click “Editorial Calendar” under the Resources list on any issue page. It will bring you to a colorful print-friendly pdf listing the year’s topics and standards.
